Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is singing the praises of his legendary father, Pete Edochie as he turns 78 today.
Taking to his Instagram, the controversial actor poured encomium on his father, referring to him as one of Nigeria’s greatest icons and the biggest name in Nollywood. Yul called him a great man, legend, good man, and wonderful father.

He wished Pete more beautiful and blessed years and prayed that God lead you always. Yul didn’t fail to express how much he loved his father and declared him his man for life.

Last year for Pete Edochie’s 77th birthday, Yul described his father as the Lion of Africa and the most handsome 77 years he knew. Calling him the greatest, he revealed his wishes for him and prayed for God to lead him always.
Despite his scandal with his colleague, Judy Austin, which almost wrecked his relationship with his family, there is no doubt that Yul holds his father in high esteem as he never fails to sing his praises.
When the actor began his ministerial work last year, he expressed gratitude to his father for endorsing, supporting, and praying for him.
Also, when Pete Edochie bagged two doctorate degrees from Togo University, Yul had hailed him, calling him the Lion of Africa. He noted how his father deserves the recognition and award.

The father of five recounted how his father gave him the biggest advice after the first time he directed him in a movie, which he believed wasn’t his son’s best.
