Man Outsmarts Kidnappers Who Abducted His Sister for ₦1m Ransom

A Nigerian man shared on X how he outsmarted kidnappers who demanded N1 million ransom after abducting his sister.

According to him, he was able to recover part of the ransom.

In a post on X, he revealed that after sending the money and confirming his sister’s release, he was able to freeze the account the money was transferred to before the kidnappers could withdraw all the money.

While they had already taken N600,000, he was able to freeze the remaining N400,000.

He wrote: “My sister was kidnapped. They demanded a ₦1 million ransom, which we sent, but we managed to freeze the account after her release.”

“Unfortunately, they withdrew ₦600,000 before we could act. She also suffered injuries from them hitting her with a hammer.”

Following her release, he expressed gratitude, saying: “Thank God for provision and protection. Imagine if we didn’t have the money—you can only imagine what would have happened.”
