In commemoration of the 2025 International Women’s Day, President Bola Tinubu has appreciated every woman across the country.
In a post shared on his X account, Tinubu described Nigerian women as a people who are resilient and focused on their hard work and achievements.
He also said the women’s strength drives the future of Nigeria as a country,
He wrote, “Happy International Women’s Day To our mothers, daughters, sisters—your strength fuels Nigeria’s future. Together, we rise!.”
This year’s International Women’s Day Celebration has been tagged, “Accelerate action”, with Nigeria joining the globe to celebrate the strength possessed by women.
Leaders across the country and the world at large have continued appreciate women’s participation is making things work.
One of such leaders is Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president who was reacting to the crisis between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and the Senate President said the attempt to stifle the voices of women must be resisted.
