Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe is celebrating her colleague and friend, Toyin Abraham, following her latest win.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that Silverbird had honoured the actress with a Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award for being fearless, dynamic and redefining Nollywood.
Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate, Mercy said Toyin’s win is a testament to her exceptional talent, hard work, and dedication. She noted that Abraham deserves every bit of the recognition and expressed her pride in her.
Aigbe further added that this is just the beginning for Toyin.

Recall that Mercy Aigbe made her first delve into Cinema production with Ada Omo Daddy which was well received by Nigerians. The movie star couldn’t keep calm when her movie grossed one hundred and eighty point seven million and became the 3rd highest grossing movie. This was a huge milestone, especially with competition from Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Following the success of her first Cinema movie, the movie producer had worked on her second Cinema movie, Thin Line which was also a success at the Cinema as it grossed over N100 million at the box office.
