Benzino is celebrating Jay-Z’s recent lawsuit dismissal, saying that the legal victory is a huge win for Hip-Hop.
“That’s huge for Jay,” he told Vlad TV. “I mean, for Diddy, it’s just one charge out of a hundred, but for Jay, that’s huge. I really thought if that stuck, that really would f–k that up over there.”
Benzino had some harsh words for the alleged victim’s attorney, Tony Buzbee.
“He’s an ambulance lawyer. He got the hair slicked back. He’s on social media. That’s a major blow for him. It’s a W for us,” he added.
Buzbee’s lawsuit may have been dropped, but Jay has been continuing his defamation lawsuit against the Houston-based attorney.
In a newly filed declaration, Jay-Z described Buzbee’s now-dismissed lawsuit’s emotional and reputational toll. “I felt that Mr. Buzbee was placing a gun to my head—that I either bow to his demands or endure personal and financial ruin,” he stated.
