May Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, is singing the praises of her former father-in-law, Pete Edochie, as he turns 78.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of the celebrant, she described him as a true icon, a veteran, and a father to all. She wished him a glorious day filled with joy and a year ahead full of good health and happiness.
The mother of four prayed that God continues to increase his wisdom and strength and inspire those around you.

Earlier on, Yul had sung the praises of his father, referring to him as one of Nigeria’s greatest icons and the biggest name in Nollywood. He expressed how much he loved his father and declared him his man for life.
His second wife, Judy Austin had joined him, as she described the veteran as the Lion of Africa, one of the biggest names in Africa and a living legend. Judy made him know how loved he was as she told him to keep living for them.
Despite May’s separation from Yul, the brand ambassador still maintains a close relationship with her in-laws. Even Pete had granted an interview singing her praises as he declared her his favorite daughter-in-law. He credited her for being the success behind her and Yul’s 18-year marriage, as he noted how many underestimate May, who he described as exceptionally brilliant and a computer wizard.
Last year, when Pete turned 77, May had serenaded him with a beautiful birthday song. She also showered him with beautiful praises in Igbo language.
When Pete bagged a Chieftaincy title in his maternal home, May celebrated him as she expressed how proud she was of her estranged father-in-law.
To add to it, when Pete bagged double doctorate degrees from Togo, she poured praises on him, as she called him the Lion of Africa and showered him with prayers.
