Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of Nigeria, has attended the wedding of the daughter of the Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims.

The event, which took place at the National Mosque in Abuja, celebrated the union of the bride, Munirat Ibrahim, and husband, Abdullahi Ahmed.

Halims represents the Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State.

Shettima’s attendance at the wedding was disclosed via images shared by his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, on Saturday, February 1.

The caption reads: “Vice President Kashim Shettima #officialSKSM on Saturday attended the wedding Fatiha of Munirat Ibrahim and Abdullahi Ahmed at the National Mosque in Abuja.

“The bride, Munirat Ibrahim, is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, PhD, while the groom, Abdullahi Ahmed, is the son of Barrister Salisu Ahmed.
