Nigerian singer and politician Bankole Wellington, better known as Banky, has made a lifetime assurance to his beautiful actress wife, Adesua Etomi, on her birthday.
In an Instagram post, he noted how people change and evolve into different versions of themselves over time, but the prayer is that as lovers evolve, they should be just as into each other as they were when they first met.
Banky noted how it has been 8 years of being with Adesua and their 8th year is his best. He stated that he has watched her grow and can’t wait for the world to see her shine. Banky promised that no matter what the future holds for them, he is hers and she is his.

Late last year, Banky W and Adesua had celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary. Banky shared a video of him and his wife over the years, as he appreciated Adesua for choosing him as he recalled how nervous he was to be a father and husband.
Adesua, on her part, kept things short and simple as she reaffirmed her love for Banky.
In October, Adesua and Banky W had announced that they were expecting their second child. In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared Adesua’s maternity photos as they noted how they first had each other, then they had a son, and now are expecting another.
The singer later revealed that he and Adesua had welcomed their second child, a baby boy. He made this known as he shared a video of him cooking and taking care of his family. Banky stated that marriage is 100-100 and not 50-50, as he revealed that he has been a chef, housekeeper, homework teacher, masseuse, and more since his wife gave birth.
In 2023, the couple’s marriage was rocked with infidelity rumors as a blogger alleged that Banky W had cheated on Adesua and also impregnated another woman believed to be Niyola who was formerly signed to his record label. The gossip blog claimed that Banky had asked her to abort the pregnancy but she refused to.
Speaking out, Banky W while addressing the congregation during a church service, noted how there was an attack on him. He appreciated his wife, who he said he would forever remain grateful to God for because he often keeps her on the phone for hours.
