Colleagues rejoice with actress, Osas Ighodaro’s ex-husband, Gbenro Ajibade as he finally becomes a US citizen (Photos)

It is raining congratulatory messages for Nollywood actor and ex-husband of delectable actress Osas Ighodaro, Gbenro Ajibade as he officially becomes a US citizen.

The actor and media personality, via his Instagram page, made the good news as he shared photos of himself at the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services office holding his documents.

Gbenro credited his Maker for the new feat and expressed gratitude to Him.

“God did it”, he wrote.

Many flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages.

Gbenro Ajibade becomes US citizen

Gbenro adds to the list of Nigerian celebrities getting US citizenship.

Kemi Filani reported last year that Yoruba actress Esther Kalejaye officially became a Canadian citizen. She revealed the good news as she shared photos of her with her passports and documents.

Also last year, Nigerian singer, Lamboginny officially became a US citizen. The musician expressed gratitude to God and his partner, Bambii for standing by him throughout the process. He revealed that he cried, danced, and screamed in disbelief at how God turned his life around and is a living testimony of His grace.

Back in 2023, Fuji singer, Pasuma’s daughter, Aliyah Fiyinfoluwa Odetola was also officially pronounced a citizen of Canada. The then 21-year-old announced the good news on her Instagram story with a photo of her beside the Canada flag and balloons. She also shared a video of her showing off her passport as she facetimed her father.

In 2022, Uche Jombo couldn’t keep calm as she officially became a US Citizen. After being married to an American, Kenny Rodriquez in 2012, Uche Jombo was finally an American citizen; and her colleagues, Ini Edo, Omoni Oboli, and others couldn’t keep calm about the feat.

To add to it, Nollywood actor, Osinachi revealed that he had finally gotten his green card to the US. Showing off his passport, Osinachi vowed not to step foot in Nigeria again, as he dared his fans or anyone who ever saw him in Nigeria to bill him.
