With A Degree From Duke, This Bachelor Contestant Is The Perfect Combination Of Brains And Beauty

Nothing beats a woman who is just as smart as she is stunning, and luckily for brand-new Bachelor lead Grant Ellis, Zoe McGrady fits the bill beautifully.

Recently announced as a part of the cast of The Bachelor Season 29, the 27-year-old admitted that she “isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, and what she wants now is to find her Prince Charming” on the reality television series.

Getting to know the Virginia native ahead of Season 29 by looking over her official Bachelor biography, it was revealed that “she likes to adventure outdoors with activities like boating, jet skiing, surfing and ice skating,” as well as to “cook fancy dinners for her partner when she’s in love.”

Topping things off, Zoe is obsessed with puppies, babies and tacos, and “she was the first female wrestler to join her high school wrestling team.”

From that, we can only infer that she is ready to fight for Grant’s heart — literally.

Zoe is so much more than meets the eye, though, currently living in New York City and working as a tech engineer. How impressive is that?

Also, in her official Bachelor biography, ABC delves into the details of how she became so successful.

Zoe ‘Graduated From Duke University With A Degree In Mechanical Engineering’

“Zoe is super impressive, and that’s not just because she graduated from Duke University with a degree in mechanical engineering,” her Bachelor biography continues, and needless to say, we were shook.

We peeked at her LinkedIn profile, and it appears that Zoe graduated from Duke University — where she served as House Council treasurer, VisArts Co-Director of Programming, a Math 111 and Math 105 Teaching Assistant, a member of the Duke University Union Marketing Committee and more — in 2019.

Since graduating, she has amassed “[over 5] years of experience in the product management, tech and financial sectors,” and is now working as a product manager at Quantile.

Although we are incredibly impressed with the Bachelor beauty and her accomplishments, can she manage to win over the leading man?

While we’ll just have to wait – but not for very long – and see, she’s eager “to meet a man with transparency who is supportive and as committed as she is.”

Either way, our fingers are crossed that Grant and Zoe are a match made in heaven.

To see where things go from here, don’t forget that the premiere of The Bachelor Season 29 drops January 27 on ABC, with next-day streaming on Hulu, and brand-new episodes every Monday after the debut.
