Nelly claimed that he did not perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration for the money but according to Trick Daddy, the “Country Grammar” rapper received a major bag.
Trick Daddy congratulated Nelly on securing the bag.
“First of all, Nelly. Congratulations on that $1.5 million you got for that show. I wish they give me $1.5 million. It’s not nothing personal when it’s your business. If my worst enemy booked me to do a concert, I’m going to do that concert. If he booked me in a territory where I was beefing… I’m going to do that concert,” Trick said on 103.5 The Beat Miami.
The Florida rapper compared Nelly’s performance to the time Kodak Black accepted $1 million to hop on a Tekashi 6ix9ine track, despite being enemies.
Yak took shots at 6ix9ine on their collab, which led to the rainbow-haired rapper becoming a laughing stock. Trick Daddy says he would have hopped on a track with “rat” 6ix9ine for a quarter of that fee.
