Snoop Dogg has finally spoken out to address the public outrage following his performance and Donald Trump’s Crypto Ball.
“It’s Sunday, man; I got gospel in my heart. For all that hate, I’m going to answer with love. Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much. Get your life right. Stop worrying about mine,” he said. “I’m cool, I’m together. Still a Black man, still 100 percent Black.”
Snoop Dogg was one of several rappers who performed at Trump’s inauguration celebrations but he faced the biggest backlash because in the past, he has blasted rappers for agreeing to perform for Trump.
“I’m waiting. I’m gonna roast the f-ck outta you,” Snoop Dogg said ahead of Trump’s first inauguration in 2017, labeling anyone willing to perform “Uncle Toms.”
Soulja Boy and Rick Ross also performed at the event. Soulja showed off the wads of cash he’d received for his set while Rozay has remained silent.
