Nollywood filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has confirmed that the new installment of King of Boys will be released on December 25, 2025.

Earlier in 2023, the director started pre-production on the project. She hinted at other upcoming releases, including To Kill A Monkey and Welcome to the Fourth.
This new installment will bring in fresh characters while keeping some familiar ones. Titled The Beginning of the End, the film will debut in theaters.
The series focuses on Alhaja Eniola Salami, a strong businesswoman and philanthropist caught in a fierce power struggle.
The first movie came out in 2018 and drew in viewers with its exciting story and amazing acting. The follow-up, King of Boys: The Return of the King, was released on Netflix in 2021.
The original movie had a strong cast, with Sola Sobowale playing Eniola Salami. Other notable actors included Nse Ikpe-Etim, Jide Kosoko, Adesua Etomi, and Richard Mofe-Damijo.
Kemi Adetiba started her career as a radio host at Rhythm 93.7 FM, where she gained fame for her two popular shows, Soul’d Out and Sunday at the Seaside. While working in radio, she also shared her remixes online under the name “Hule” without revealing her identity.
After switching from radio to TV, Adetiba became a recognizable figure on Mnet. She worked on popular shows like Studio 53 and Temptation Nigeria, teaming up with Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa.
She left her mark as a host on Soundcity TV and led the Maltina Dance All reality show for three straight seasons.
After years of success in front of the camera, Adetiba turned her attention to storytelling behind the scenes. She went to the New York Film Academy to sharpen her filmmaking abilities. This move allowed her work to be recognized outside of Africa. Her short film, Across a Bloodied Ocean, was presented at the 2009 Pan African Film Festival and the National Black Arts Festival.
Her first feature film, a romantic comedy titled The Wedding Party, debuted on September 8, 2016, as the opening film of the City-to-City Spotlight at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
