Mase has been caught in the middle of his It Is What It Is podcast co-host Cam’ron’s beef with Jim Jones but says that he has been trying to get both men to talk and air out their grievances.
“So you gotta understand, a person like me, it is in my power to get everybody together. It is in my power to at least make the attempt. But you can’t make people talk,” he told M Reck via a phone call.
He continued, “I try to do what I think somebody should’ve did for me when I wasn’t present – put us all together and say, ‘Yo, y’all need to work this out because we’re embarrassing ourselves.’ That’s how I personally feel, so all I could do is just sit there. I can’t scream at him. I can’t scream at this person.”
The feud between Cam’ron and Jim Jones reignited after Cam and 50 Cent linked up for an interview and recalled the time Jones took to the stage with G-Unit at the height of Cam’s beef with 50.
Jones says it was just business but at the time, Cam saw it as a betrayal.
Jones clapped back in a recent interview.
“Them n-ggas be on my d-ck. Them n-ggas ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo. I did a lot from them n-ggas in their life ya heard? Both of them. Pause, though. Get off my d-ck! It’s only space on there for baby girl. Come on, man. Tugging on my sh-t like that.”
