How Ariana Biermann Feels About Kim Zolciak And Kroy Biermann's Split

Kim Zolciak’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, has admitted that her parents’ divorce has been extremely stressful for her. It’s one of the many things that have caused the former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star mental anguish after years of financial issues and watching her parents call 911 on each other.

In a TikTok video, Ariana opened up about her mother’s failed marriage and how it has made her question her future. According to Collider, she admitted she is worried she’ll end up recreating her mother’s dramatic life. “And then you think to yourself, ‘Do I want to get married? Because does that just make things complicated?’ Then you think, ‘Yeah I do. Yeah but no. I don’t know.’ Because this really just f*****g sucks.”

The influencer continued, “You know when you’re younger, like 10, and you think about divorce… You’re like, ‘Oh my God, two Christmases, two vacations, two birthday gifts, fun time, extra food on Thanksgiving… What a fun time,” she explained in her social media post before adding that as an adult she soon realized divorce was “actually the worst thing that’s ever happened, for everyone involved.”

Inside Kim Zolciak And Kroy Biermann’s Messy Divorce

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann married in Atlanta on November 11, 2011, after meeting at a charity event the year prior. The couple share four children, with Kroy adopting Kim’s kids from previous relationships, Brielle and Ariana.

In May 2023, the reality TV couple split. Us Weekly confirmed at the time that the former NFL player filed for divorce after more than a decade of marriage. According to the legal paperwork, Kroy claimed his marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

Kim filed a motion days later requesting that her ex be drug-tested. PEOPLE reported that the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum claims to have “seen [the] Respondent smoking marijuana, and she has serious concerns for the safety and well-being of the minor children while in Respondent’s care. She is fearful that the children will be exposed to Respondent’s drug use.”

Kroy fired back paperwork, which, according to Us Weekly, requested that his estranged wife undergo psychological testing amid their split. He claimed his estranged wife “presented very troubling behavior which has accelerated in the months leading up to [his] filing for divorce,” and had gambling problems which meant she was “unable to properly care for the children.”

In July 2023, Kim filed paperwork to dismiss her divorce from her husband. A month later, Kroy submitted a second filing, in which he wanted full legal and physical custody of their four minor children.

  • While the couple have now officially split, they are still legally married as of this article’s publishing.
