That said, the Raptors hosted the Sacramento Kings at the Scotiabank Arena. DeMar DeRozan returned to the Scotiabank Arena, but this time as a Kings player. Interestingly, rapper Drake was also present in the crowd. He was having a go at DeRozan. In a viral video making rounds on the internet, Drake can be spotted giving a ‘death stare’ to DeRozan on the court.

Not only that, in another video posted on X, Drake can be spotted chirping the words, “F*ck outta here, p*ssy.” This was after the Kings lost to the Raptors in OT. In addition, Drake also took their beef to another level. He stated that he would ‘rip off’ DeRozan’s retirement jersey. That was if the Raptors considered giving him one.

On the other hand, DeRozan previously tried to calm the matter by claiming, ‘Drake’s still my man’ in an interview. However, Drake did not share the same feelings. Their recent interaction at the Scotiabank Arena clarified the bond they previously shared. It remains to be seen how this matter unfolds in the coming months.
Gilbert Arenas weighed in on DeMar DeRozan appearing in Kendrick Lamar’s diss track
Over the past few months, DeMar DeRozan has found it hard to cope with the ongoing hip-hop beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. This is because DeRozan had good ties with both the rappers. However, his relationship with Drake turned sour as he appeared in Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Diss track towards Drake.
Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas weighed in on his thoughts regarding DeRozan appearing on the diss track. Gilbert Arenas emphasized the gravity of the situation by saying that DeRozan was in a “double-edged sword” situation. According to Arenas, DeRozan chose to support Lamar because he wanted to honor his Compton roots and because they both grew up there.
However, this hampered his bond with the Canadian rapper with whom he shared a very close bond. During his 9 years with the Toronto Rappers, Drake watched and cheered for him on the sidelines. Now, both seem to be going at each other, with their most recent altercation coming during the Raptors-Kings matchup at the Scotiabank Arena.
