Tyler Reddick explains how he is “blocking out” noise over 23XI’s NASCAR lawsuit ahead of the season finale

The 2024 NASCAR season has seen 23XI Racing and Tyler Reddick finding themselves in a tight spot. They are fighting for the championship, while there is a huge uncertainty over the team having a charter in the 2025 season, owing to their refusal to sign the new charter deal. The team filing a monopoly lawsuit also has a significant role in it.

He asserted that 23XI has a dedicated team to take care of the legal drama, while everyone else is working on making sure the drivers have best car for the championship chase.

I haven’t really had to try to block it out; it pretty much came naturally with what lays ahead of us.  They’ve got a team of people that are taking care of that. I’m taking care of what I can do as the driver. Yeah, it hasn’t been difficult at all to not think about that stuff.

Tyler Reddick said via RACER.

While further talking about the point, Reddick asserted that he is so locked in the championship chase and has never even concerned himself about the saga. He added that it has been very easy to shift focus to the finale, as it was the championship is in the line.

I didn’t really have to tell myself to ignore it because I’m so locked in on this week, the trophy (sitting) over there, all the banners and signage. We know what we’re racing for, so it’s been very easy to stay focused.

I think there’s a point where we can almost overdo it when it comes to an oval, but I feel like we’ve had a good balance. We worked really, really hard as soon as we left this race in the spring of going back to Airspeed and post-race scaling this tire and it left us in a really good spot for coming back to it when it came time to get ready for this championship.

Tyler Reddick said.

The No:45 Toyota driver seems really determined to fight hard for the championship, with the whole TRD garage supporting them. It will be interesting to how the 23XI driver will perform in the most important Cup race of his NASCAR career.
