TV bride who was single for six years took days to insult new husband

Married at First Sight couple Michelle and David are butting heads as they navigate their new relationship. She told him his living situation is a “turn off” after being single for six years.

The morning after tying the knot on Married at First Sight, Michelle and David aren’t seeing eye-to-eye. When she found out David still lives at home, she quickly resorted to insulting her new husband.

Michelle insults David over home

Michelle, 38, had only just married David, but almost immediately insulted him after learning he still lives at home with his parents. She told him it’s a “turn off” but he said he’s “working on it”.

Just one morning after they got married, Michelle admitted she was finding it hard to adjust to her new relationship. David didn’t seem to find it as difficult, but revealed he’d lived with women before.

David slept on the couch, which “didn’t surprise her,” while Michelle said they’re not in a place where they want to sleep in the same bed. She then asked him, “Who would choose to live with their parents at 36?”

She asked if he’s motivated to leave his parents’ home and “his mommy doing all his things for him,” adding that she wants a husband whose independent. David replied that he can cook and clean.

“I’m ready to get the f*** out of there. I feel a little thrown back but she’s still hung up on the living situation. If there’s something I need to do, I’m definitely willing to,” David said.

MAFS star single for 6 years

Michelle was single for six years before going on MAFS. She told her Lifetime co-stars, “I’m only used to thinking about myself and that might sound selfish, and now it’s like there’s someone checking in.”

With David’s alarm going off at 4.45am, which is usually so he wakes up for gym and work in time, Michelle told him he needed to fix that and turn it off. And he got six tacos at 1am!

Although Michelle is open to having children, she would consider adopting or fostering due to her age, but knows she’s 100 percent ready for marriage and therefore applied for the show.
