Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were reportedly victims of home burglaries while they were away securing wins for the team. According to reports, the burglaries occurred when the Chiefs were preparing to face the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football on October 7. The FBI is reportedly involved in the investigation.
The incidents were first reported by TMZ, though no official statement has been released by the FBI. The properties targeted were Mahomes’ home in Belton, Missouri, and Kelce’s residence in Leawood, Kansas, with both break-ins occurring within 48 hours of each other.
Mahomes’ security team alerted the police just after midnight on October 6, while Kelce’s home was reportedly broken into on the evening of October 7

Neither of the parties involved has yet commented on the incident. Additionally, according to TMZ, the FBI has denied reports of its involvement. However, police are actively investigating nearby homes for any evidence.
Documents obtained by TMZ reveal that $20,000 was stolen from Travis Kelce’s home, where the back door was also damaged. In contrast, Patrick Mahomes’ Belton estate showed no signs of forced entry, and no missing items have yet been reported. After learning about the burglary, Kelce reportedly chose to stay at a hotel in Kansas City, accompanied by Taylor Swift.
