Lewis Hamilton and his love for Supercars is a well-known affair. While the Brit is extremely fond of taking his cars for a spin, there was once a time when he reportedly deemed the Pagani Zonda 760 a ‘terrible car to drive’.
The Pagani Zonda is often referred to as an exotic car. Pagani has been coming up with different versions of it for nearly two decades since its introduction in the early 2000s. However, despite this, only 140 Zondas have ever been produced, and to date, they remain highly desirable in the collector’s market.
As per luxurulaunches, the Pegani 760 Zonda, which has racked up over 17,000 miles, is all set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s auction soon. Moreover, its estimated selling price is expected to be over $12 Million.
Interestingly, Lewis Hamilton once got a custom Zonda 760 built for him, which he later sold at around $10.8 Million. The car usually comes with a 7.3-liter M120 engine and is considered by many as one of the most powerful road-legal Zonda’s ever made.
Lewis Hamilton impressed by Max Verstappen’s ‘fantastic job’ in 2024
Lewis Hamilton is bringing his Mercedes chapter to a close at the end of the 2024 Abu Dhabi GP. The champion for the season was crowned last week in Las Vegas, and following the event, the Brit has wholeheartedly applauded the now four-time world champion Max Verstappen.
After the 50-lap Las Vegas Grand Prix, Hamilton had the following to say about Verstappen and Red Bull.
Verstappen has not had the fastest car for the majority for the 2024 F1 season. However, despite this, the 27-year-old has managed to churn out crucial results that have helped him immensely in securing his fourth consecutive world title.
With his most recent success, he has also equaled Sebastian Vettel‘s Red Bull record of four consecutive titles from 2010-2013. From Hamilton’s perspective, he will be hoping to challenge for the world championship in the 2025 season will the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team.
