Mike Tyson reveals shocking $300 million earnings during prison sentence

Mike Tyson was sentenced to six years in prison in 1992 after being convicted of r*pe. The incident involved the assault of Miss Black America contestant Desiree Washington in an Indianapolis hotel. Significant challenges marked Tyson’s time in prison; he faced isolation and harsh realities. However, it didn’t affect his finances.

Mike Tyson used this period for self-reflection and solitude, eventually converting to Islam. His experiences shaped his later life, influencing his views on fame, responsibility, and redemption. In the latest interview, the legendary boxer talked about making millions of dollars while staying in prison.

When I went to prison I had 15 (million dollars), when I came out I almost had three or four hundred million…I’m in there signing contracts in prison.

Tyson revealed that these contracts were being brought to him by none other than Don King, who earned him that money. He also stated that prison didn’t necessarily help him but instead debilitated him. Despite his time in prison, Tyson was still one of the most popular fighters in the world.

After coming back from prison, Tyson was jacked, and even Joe Rogan had talked about it in his podcast. Tyson then went on a four-fight win streak, knocking out all his opponents in the process. During all this, the whole world was against Tyson, and very few publicly supported him.

Mike Tyson’s ultimate adviser, former US President Donald Trump

Mike Tyson and Donald Trump have had an ongoing relationship since the late 1980s. Trump was a major figure in Tyson’s life, particularly during his turbulent years. Following Tyson’s conviction in 1992, Trump offered him guidance and assistance. Trump’s business contacts assisted Tyson in rebuilding his image and career following his sentence.

Tyson has frequently discussed Trump’s influence on his life, notably in dealing with the hurdles of celebrity and personal struggles. Their bond remains a significant part of both of their lives. Back then, the former ex-POTUS talked about Tyson’s case in a famous interview.

Mike Tyson should fight. Mike Tyson about supply millions of millions dollars to rape victims and I think it’s better than him sitting in a jailhouse for six years.

Ahead of the ongoing U.S. elections, Trump also has the ultimate endorsement from Mike Tyson. Other than Tyson, many other superstars from the world of combat sports also have publicly supported the 78-year-old. It would be interesting to see whether the Republican gets a satisfactory win over the Democrats.
