Reality TV dating series Love Is Blind is full of relationship drama, particularly when the engaged couples don’t work out. Once the cast members conclude filming, they can often find themselves both heartbroken and newly in the public spotlight.
This seemed to be the case for Nick D. from Season 7 of the show. Though things between Nick and his former fiancée, Hannah, didn’t work out, it appears that Nick tried to make a move on another Love Is Blind cast member from a different season.
Nick Tried To Slide Into Micah From Season 4’s DMs
After Nick finished his time on Season 7 of Love Is Blind, it seemed like he wasn’t yet done looking for love with others who had also been through the social experiment. Though he and Hannah decided to end their engagement shortly before they would’ve gone wedding dress and suit shopping, Micah Lussier from Love Is Blind Season 4 revealed that Nick had DMed her expressing his interest in her.
Micah recently appeared on Nick Viall’s podcast “The Viall Files,” where she shared details about the incident. According to Micah, she doesn’t even check all of her own social media messages, and her assistants actually had to be the ones to flag it for her:
Yesterday, I was, like, scrolling through [my Instagram feed]. I don’t read through any of my DMs aside from any in my primary. My social media assistant and my assistant put stuff in front of me in my primary that’s important. I was looking through for some reason and I see a blue check. I wonder, ‘Oh, why wasn’t this moved?’ And it was Nick. He slid in my DMs.
It seems that without her team calling attention to it, Micah may have never even known Nick was trying to make a move on her. In his message, Nick shared that he’d had “the biggest crush on [her] for so long.”

He came off as a good guy in the pods, but that may not actually be the case.
The timeline of the whole situation was also apparently a little sketchy, as Micah noted it took place before Love Is Blind had even aired that Hannah and Nick had chosen to split. “I was like, ‘I could have this man aired out,'” Micah noted.
Nick Viall appeared to be entertained by Micah’s story, even going so far as to point out that Nick D. must be fond of blondes, as both Micah and Hannah have a similar shade to their hair. Micah responded to his theory with a joke of her own, adding that he must like “the b***** blondes” specifically.

So did anything come of Nick’s attempt to slide into Micah’s DMs? Micah went on make it clear to the podcast’s listeners that she had chosen not to respond to the message. It seems that Nick has been left hanging instead.
If she were to answer him back, however, Micah said she would keep her reply to him rather simple:
I don’t know. I think I’ll just reply, like, ‘You shot your shot, good for you. Hope I’ll see you sometime.’
Nick Had A Tough Time At The Season 7 Reunion
It seems like Nick is still finding himself in the crosshairs of Love Is Blind drama. During the Season 7 reunion, Hannah called him out for acting fake while the cameras were rolling, claiming that he was completely different on-camera versus off-camera. Hannah was supported by her friend and fellow cast member Marissa George, who said she noticed the same thing in Nick’s behavior.
The women pointed out that despite Nick coming off as a sweet good guy while they were filming, he would say hurtful things about Hannah’s appearance behind her back. While at the reunion, Nick continued to deny this was the case, saying that he never said anything negative about Hannah’s looks.

It seems that Nick found himself caught in a lie, however, as some of the men in the cast spoke up and admitted that they had heard Nick say unkind remarks about the woman who was his fiancée at the time. One cast member, Ramses, who has been largely panned as the season’s villain, even encouraged Nick to use the moment to take some real accountability, but even this didn’t seem to have an effect on Nick’s choices.
If Nick has learned anything, it’s that he should expect his words and actions as pertain to Love Is Blind to become public at some point. While he still claims that he applied to be a part of the experiment because he truly wanted to find love, more and more evidence seems to point to the fact that Nick wanted to get onto the reality TV show so he could become famous on the other side.
Fifteen men and women from the same city come together to compete in Love is Blind, a reality dating show created for Netflix. The show sees couples meet and fall in love with a twist – they’ll only meet face to face if one of the two accepts a marriage proposal. If they accept, they’ll move in with their partner, meet their families, and ultimately decide if they want to say “I do.”
