The romantic getaway is almost over for the couples on Love Is Blind: Argentina. As the reality TV show moves on to its next phase, the pairs will have to see how they adjust to living in the real world with one another.
For some of the duos, the intimacy and communication are great. For others, jealousy and insecurity rear their ugly heads — and, for one couple, a poor connection means the end of the road entirely.
Santiago Adjusts To His Jealousy
We immediately pick up with Santiago and Emily’s argument over her hugging Tom. After the two spend some time apart, Emily comes back out to their patio and asks him to come inside, wanting to make up and lie down together. Finally, Santi admits he overreacted, telling his partner he can’t help but feel so strongly:
I get upset over little things because I’m an idiot who’s hopelessly in love, you know? And I get upset over little things, because when you’re in love, you overreact about stupid stuff. And I’m sorry, but I love you. What am I supposed to do about it?
Next we see Florfi and Tom, who continue to feel at ease with one another and who look for time away from the cameras to be intimate. Things aren’t as smooth for Eva and Roberto, who still haven’t figured out their communication. Eva shares that she’s waiting for him to “inspire” her, but he still hasn’t stepped up.
Ezequiel shares that everything is going well with Juli, but that she grows shy with the cameras around, and that it can affect her displays of affection for him. In the long-term, however, he thinks they’ll be fine.

The couples jet off to Mexico for a romantic getaway.
The Cast Takes A Dip
The cast goes on some water-based outings, with some heading to a shallow tide pool to swim in. Mauricio admits that he’s still not sure if he wants to marry Maria, as he’s not used to seeing many healthy marriages around him, and that his own relationship with his daughter’s mother didn’t work out. For her part, Maria explains that she sees a marriage as a union, which is something she’s always wanted.
Florfi shares she understands Mauri’s concerns, and that she imagines most of them will only make their decision when they’re actually at the altar. This makes Tom wonder if she’s rethinking her commitment to him, and if she’s not sharing more of what she’s feeling.
Later, the cast gets together for happy hour drinks, and Eva gets them to play “never have I ever,” where people must drink if they’ve done the activity that someone reads aloud from a slip of paper. Ezequiel is surprised to learn that Juli has slept with more than one person within the same day, but he tells the cameras he’s not there to judge other people.

Love Is Blind: Argentina Season 1 Episode 3 Recap: Words Aren’t My Strong Suit
A reveal gone wrong and an engagement that shocks the rest of the cast.
When Eva comes over to talk with Emily and Santi, Emily makes a joke asking if she likes her husband, which makes Eva feel awkward, knowing that she’s not trying to get in the middle of their relationship. Santi shares with the cameras that Emily has a specific sense of humor that he knows can rub people the wrong way.
That night, Eva and Roberto both point out that their ideal relationship would be more like Florfi and Tom’s, warm and affectionate, which they’re not finding together. In their own room, Ezequiel tells Juli he’s upset because he felt Roberto was clearly flirting with her. When she says they’re just friends, he pouts in the bed, and Juli says she doesn’t want to argue about it, saying he may be seeing things she doesn’t.
The Cast Heads Back Home
After their romantic getaway, it’s time for the couples to return home to the real world. Their next challenge is whether they can settle into living together, combining their lifestyles into one. Before packing up, however, Roberto and Eva decide that they’re not what each other is looking for. Roberto tells the cameras that, ultimately, their connection just couldn’t get there:
You can like things about someone, whether it’s their personality or their looks, but I think it’s very difficult to keep moving forward if the chemistry isn’t there.
Eva agrees that she doesn’t think their issues can be sorted out by living together, and they end up leaving their rings in Mexico, calling it quits.
Emily and Santi settle into their new shared apartment. He shares that his father has COVID and is sick in the hospital, and Emily assures him that he should visit as much as he wants. When Emily calls all of her family members to introduce them to Santi, he jokes that he’s overwhelmed by how the intros don’t stop.

Meanwhile, Tom and Florfi check out each other’s social media for the first time. It rubs Emily the wrong way, wondering if Agustina is trying to start something.
