Angry Arne Slot gives brutal assessment of his players on record-breaking night
With the 2-1 win over Brighton on Saturday, Arne Slot became the first Liverpool manager ever to win eight of his first ten League games. However, the exciting result didn’t stop him from having a strong word with his players following a lackluster first half. Speaking to the press following the game, Slot made no effort to conceal his frustration.
In the second half, I don’t think anyone deserved to be taken out. But in the first half, almost everyone deserved to be taken off. I wasn’t screaming but made sure that the players understood that this wasn’t enough and they felt it themselves as well.
