The 2024 season finale inches closer with just three races pending on the calendar. This means that Lewis Hamilton has only three races left as a Silver Arrow before his ultimate move to Ferrari next season. Hence, amidst the Briton’s streak of disastrous performances, he was looking forward to quickly ending the season with Brackley.
Lewis Hamilton shocked the entire world by announcing a late-career switch to Ferrari from the 2025 season onwards. As a result, Hamilton hoped to end 2024 on a high with Mercedes after racing together for over 12 years. The Briton also scored two highly coveted race wins this season with one win being on his home soil which ended the victory drought of over almost 1000 days.
Despite some glimpses of impressive performances, Hamilton still struggled to keep up with such performances. Hence, following a disastrous outing at the Brazilian GP, the 39-year-old wanted to move on from it. The seven-time world champion reckoned that he was very interested in his future. Mercedes would have ‘loved’ to fight for the championship in 2024
