He won the Most Popular Driver award, his eight wins in the category since his debut and he is now halfway towards beating his father Bill Elliott’s record.
The main rival Chase Elliott had to overcome this season has been his own teammate, Kyle Larson. The 2021 Cup champion has seen his fanbase growing faster than any other driver in the garage.
