One of the first celebrity contestants announced to join Season 33 of reality TV’sDancing With the Stars was Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik. Fans Have Noticed The Sweet Way Stephen Nedoroscik’s Girlfriend Is Supporting His DWTS Journey
There have been several Olympian contestants on Dancing With the Stars, and Season 33 was no different with the announcement that Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik would be competing. (The season also sees Olympic medalist Ilona Maher partnered with Alan Bersten). Stephen and his DWTS pro partner Rylee Arnold came out strong with their premiere performance of a jive routine, and in Week 2, paid tribute to his Olympic USA Team and his modern-day Clark Kent persona during Oscar’s night.
While Stephen and Rylee have become fan-favorites thanks to their great chemistry and fun-filled performances, including looking downright creepy on Halloween night, it’s Stephen’s girlfriend that’s also making headlines.
Stephen and Rylee scored their first 10 during Week 6’s Disney night, where they performed a contemporary routine to the song “I Ran (So Far Away).”
Dancing With the Stars fans have noticed that Stephen’s girlfriend, Tess McCracken, has been doing something adorable every week to show her massive support for her boyfriend. After looking at Tess’ Instagram, in which she shares photos alongside Stephen each week on DWTS, fans have noticed that she matches her outfits with Stephen’s costumes.
On a Reddit thread, a fan shared all of Tess’ Instagram photos that showed how she has been cleverly matching Stephen with her clothing. During Week 2, in which he wore head-to-toe red, Tess wore a red dress. During Week 3’s Soul Train night, she wore a gold dress to match Stephen’s gold ensemble.
Week 4 was Dedication night and Tess continued to support Stephen by wearing a blue dress as he danced the Argentine Tango in a blue suit. During Week 5’s Disney night, in which Stephen dressed up as Hercules, Tess wore a purple dress, which looked similar to the characters’ love interest, Megara.
On the same Reddit thread, fans have expressed how “adorable” and “cute” the couple is. They found Tess’ small gesture incredibly endearing.

Stephen And Tess McCracken Have A Long History Together
What fans may not know is that Tess and Stephen have been in a relationship for 8 years. The pair first met as freshmen in college at Penn State University, where they both participated on the school’s gymnastics team.
During an interview with Today, Tess shared how she and Stephen first met. “We met on our first day at Penn State. He was a gymnast for Penn State men’s team, and I was on the Penn State women’s gymnastics team, so we were in athlete orientation together.”
She added, “We recognized each other from the competition world but didn’t speak much until we paired up for a personality questionnaire and later saw each other on the first day of classes.” And like they say, the rest is history.
In fact, not only has Tess supported Stephen’s DWTS journey, she was a huge support system during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Stephen and Tess have a cat named Kyushu, which they named after Kitakyushu, Japan, the place where he won gold at the World Championships. In fact, Stephen won the first-ever gold in pommel horse for the U.S.
On Instagram, she shared a carousel of images during Stephen’s Olympic run. Her photos included Stephen proudly wearing his two Olympic medals and a photo of herself rooting for him while in the stands.
“For the entire time I’ve known you, you have been nothing but absolutely certain that one day you would be an Olympian, and seeing that dream become a reality this week is a feeling that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Stephen, you are the greatest partner, athlete, and role model. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you next, and I will be right beside you for every moment of it.”
Tess has truly been Stephen’s biggest cheerleader and fans can’t wait to see what she wears next when he competes in Week 7 of DWTS.
