As a result, such a great event called for smoking marijuana for some residents of Sin City.
Franco Colapinto claimed that there was a distinct smell of marijuana while driving around the circuit. Following this claim, the Argentine joked that the drivers would be ‘doped’ from the smell itself. Even Sergio Perez decided to side with Colapinto following the claims of the smell of marijuana. The 34-year-old noted that there was a ‘noticeable’ smell of the narcotic throughout the night of the practice sessions. Perez was already tired of the ‘incredible amount’ of smell as the majority of the weekend was still pending to be concluded.
