With 14 goals in La Liga and another 5 in the Champions League, Robert Lewandowski has hit top form once again. Fans are even hoping for the Polish striker to hit numbers similar to that during his time at Bayern Munich. However, it appears that the club has already started searching for a worthy successor for the No. 9.
Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres has been in top form this season. With his most recent hat-trick against Manchester City, almost every top club in Europe has taken notice of the Swedish marksman.

Even though Gyokeres’ release clause sits at a whopping €100 million, Barca are looking to use both Vitor Roque and Francisco Trincao to bring down his price. While Roque was previously offered to Sporting for €30 million, the club also holds sell-on rights for Trincao who is currently at Sporting.
Barcelona announces whopping $1.8 billion deal with Nike
As per several reports, Barcelona have signed the ‘biggest’ sponsorship deal in football worth $1.8 billion with Nike. The €1.7 billion contract is stretched over 14 years with an average of around €121 million per year. With only the signature of Nike pending to finalize the agreement, fans are excited that the investment will open up the possibility of signing several top players in the coming seasons.
Despite the massive amount, news outlet RAC1 states that it will not allow the club to return to the 1:1 rule or enable the registration of Dani Olmo. The former RB Leipzig man was brought into the club in the summer for a €60 million fee and has been in excellent form both domestically and in Europe.

As things stand, Barcelona are on good terms with Nike, although this hasn’t always been the case. Earlier in March 2024, Joan Laporta threatened to terminate the contract with Nike. However, it is understood that Nike has managed to make certain compromises, thereby salvaging the agreement. Barcelona have Nike have been partners since 2000.
