On Sunday (November 10), an Instagram comments altercation between Jenn Tran’s widely disliked ex Devin Strader and Dancing With The Stars pro Ezra Sosa broke out, and Sasha Farber has since involved himself.
And there is a massive amount of cross-reality TV context here, so let’s recap.
Jenn Tran was “the lead” on the most recent season of The Bachelorette, she wound up settling for upon Devin Strader, and viewers were shocked and horrified when the finale revealed that Devin had cruelly shattered Jenn’s heart.
To be clear, any person is entitled to leave a relationship for any or no reason — but Devin was, frankly, a complete jerk about it, earning widespread condemnation for his actions … which included Devin exposing all of Jenn’s private texts.
On the night Jenn’s Bachelorette finale aired – and in a move fans interpreted as the network making weak amends for what they put her through – viewers learned that Jenn was joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars Season 33.
Nevertheless, fans called on ABC to “cancel the whole [Bachelor] franchise” in solidarity with Jenn — but Jenn was a highlight in this season of DWTS, and everyone was devastated anew when she was voted off.
Immediately after that, Jenn posted a TikTok with Sasha Farber, strongly hinting that the pair’s relationship had evolved beyond a Viennese Waltz.
That brings us to Sunday, when Devin reared his head on Instagram with a carousel of images depicting a night on the town — and, predictably, the comments immediately became a spontaneous roast of Devin Strader.
And Ezra Sosa chimed in, after an obviously annoyed Devin took umbrage at mentions of Jenn’s alleged new love, Sasha.
An Instagram user commented that “Jenn [Tran] found a great guy[,] his name is Sasha,” and Devin bizarrely objected to “bringing another man’s name up on [his] page.”
He also whined that Sasha is “a girl’s name,” to which Ezra replied: “I know about 5 Devins, ALL [of whom] are women.”
It wasn’t clear if Ezra was sticking up for Jenn, Sasha, both, or that he just has a normal level of disdain for Devin — but Sasha has since jumped in, too, to troll Jenn’s ex.

Sasha’s Instagram Story, An ‘FYI’ To Devin
On Monday, fans dissected the exchange between Devin and Ezra, and several fretted about Devin’s reported tendency to become vindictive.
Instagram Stories expire after 24 hours, but a Reddit user captured a screenshot of Sasha Farber’s Story:
Sasha was very clearly referencing Devin and Ezra’s comment fracas, and he wrote:
“The name Sasha is short for Alexander, you know who else had the same name, Alexander the Great!!! FYI[.]”
Alas, Instagram Stories don’t allow for comments, and we were all deprived of the comments that would have accompanied Sasha’s post.
Over on Reddit, Sasha’s Instagram Story was shared on r/thebachelor and r/dancingwiththestars, and fans in both threads had similar things to say.
A large share of comments on both threads expressed that Devin was unworthy of attention: “I truly wish that Devin would fade into obscurity.”
One fan said “I wish he said Devin is short for abuser,” and another commended Sasha:
“You know what?? Hell yeah Sash! Stand up to that bully, why do the nice people always have to be the ones to take the high road 😤”
In spite of the fact Sasha was indeed “clapping back” at Devin, one viewer observed that Sasha remained “kind”: “I like Sasha. He’s kind even when he’s clapping back.”
