Divorcing millionaire predicted marriage wouldn't last years ago – 'I was 99% sure'

Teddi Mellencamp joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seven years ago, and back then, she says she: “99 per cent thought her marriage wasn’t going to make it.” This November, she publicly announced that she has filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave.

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills alums Teddi and Edwin had been together 13 years before she filed for divorce. They’ve been married over a decade and share four kids. But, their relationship hasn’t come without some highs and lows. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last year, Teddi said Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marital issues “resonated” with her.

‘I was hiding something with Edwin’

Appearing on WWHL, Teddi cast her mind back to her first RHOBH season and told Andy Cohen: “I know that my first season, I was hiding something with Edwin… I 99 per cent thought that our marriage wasn’t going to make it.”

She adds: “So, it resonated with me.”

A year later, Teddi takes to IG to share she and Edwin are divorcing.

The 43-year-old shares how her kids are her “priority” at this time in the “vulnerable” post.

Edwin Arroyave teaches daughter a ‘life lesson’

When it comes to Teddi and Edwin, it’s clear to see the Bravo couple are all about their kids.

When Dorit Kemsley was a no-show during RHOBH season 8, Teddi told her she had to shoot off to spend time with her kids that evening.

Now, since she’s announced she and Edwin are divorcing, the parents have been sharing how central their kids are to their lives via IG.

Edwin takes to Instagram this fall to share he’s teaching his four-year-old daughter, Dove, a “life lesson”.

The businessman and podcast co-host is being hailed a great dad by fans as he tells his followers he’s on his way to see Dove’s teacher.

He tells the camera: “…meeting Dove’s teacher today… should be fun.”

Then Edwin asks Dove: “What did you do? She said she wants to talk to me…”

The father-of-four continues: “What do you do if someone takes your lunch?”

He tells his four-year-old: “No karate on them.”

Edwin encourages his daughter to “tell the teacher …if somebody pushes you” as fans take to the comment to praise his parenting.

Dove was born in 2020 and was described by her mom and dad as a “miracle baby” when she arrived.
