Bobby Flay Addresses 'Chemistry' With Kristin Cavallari After Heated Podcast

In late October, celebrity chef Bobby Flay went on Kristin Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest podcast, and the “chemistry” between the pair is still making headlines.

Kristin has graduated from the reality TV realm to podcasting, and she’s conquering the latter medium, too.

Earlier this month, we covered Bobby’s conversation with Kristin — more specifically, the time when he “slid into her DMs.”

Kristin posed a question about whether he’d ever slide into anyone’s DMs, and Bobby interjected to discuss a time when he seemed to pull the move on her:

“I have but never in a way that would be like — actually, I want to talk to you about this. You and I had a situation where I was coming to Nashville for literally one day for a meeting, and I was like: ‘Who do I know in Nashville?’
“I DMed you and I said to you — now, I know what words I used specifically because you reminded me — ‘I’m going to be in Nashville for one night, can I take you to dinner?’ And you literally said something to me like, ‘I’m already dating somebody.'”

For her part, Kristin admitted she may have judged Bobby too quickly: “There’s a fair argument that I shouldn’t just assume that you wanted to take me on a date.”

Ultimately, Kristin and Bobby did go out on a not-date when he was in Nashville, and they had a great time — ostensibly as friends.

Then the episode aired, and fans could not get over their banter and overall vibes.

Over on Instagram, Kristin shared a clip alongside Bobby around the time the podcast aired.

Fans in the comments were entranced by their friendship, and one wrote:

Can y’all just put us out of our misery and just date! The energy is 🔥🔥🔥 and he is DADDY vibes

Another said Bobby was “totally into her,” but the best comment was perhaps: “50 shades of Flay.”

In fact, Bobby and Kristin were such a hit together that the chef was approached by People to discuss their off-the-charts chemistry, and he said:

“I love her energy, and I also really respect her as a businesswoman. She’s fun. She’s a baller, she’s a mom, she’s got three kids.
“She runs her jewelry business, she runs her podcast business, she runs her whole Kristin Cavallari life and she does it incredibly well.”

Kristin recently ended a relationship with TikTok star Mark Estes, and at the time, she talked a bit about her wishes in terms of balancing her life and dating, citing many of the things Bobby admires about her.

When Kristin and Bobby talked, he told her that he was more interested in a “life partner” and companion than marriage — and yet again, his comments aligned pretty well with things she’d recently said about her own interests in a partner, bolstering fan observations they’d likely make a good couple.
