When RHONY first aired in 2008, the cast sent shockwaves across the nation leaving viewers absolutely hooked. Come the second season, former model Kelly Bensimon joined the cast and managed to stir things up.
While Kelly was known for her feud with fellow co-star, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly went on to become one of the most talked-about housewives in history.

Kelly Bensimon joined the cast of the Real Housewives of New York City in its second season and was definitely an addition that fans remember.
Despite being a full-time castmate, viewers felt as if they weren’t getting a genuine version of Kelly, which many of her co-stars brought up during the season reunion. Luckily for the star, she certainly came into her own come her second go and fans definitely preferred Kelly 2.0.
While she definitely redeemed herself, Kelly burned just about every bridge during the “Scary Island” episode that fans are still confused about to this day. Although her lifestyle was one worth tuning in for, viewers couldn’t stomach the star for much longer.
Kelly officially parted ways with Bravo following Season 3, and has since taken on real estate.
While we know Kelly was a former model and founder of ELLE Accessories, the star did a major 180 and took on a completely new job, as she explained to Architectural Digest.
“I have always been in love with art and architecture and what’s behind the incredible façades.”
“I’m passionate about real estate because it encompasses my love of aesthetics and the art of the deal.” she finished.
While she may have been new to the game, Kelly has become a pro and has since sold over $50 million worth of property in 2021 alone.
Kelly isn’t the only RHONY star to venture into real estate as former co-star, Ramona Singer is also decided to get her real estate license and was officially able to sell real estate in 2023.
In addition to her spot at the Holly Parker Team, Kelly released her sixth book back in 2017 titled The Second Course, all while running her very own blog titled, KKBLoves.com
If she isn’t selling multi-million-dollar properties in one of the best cities in the world, Kelly continues to raise her two daughters, Sea and Teddy, in New York City.
The star spoke about dealing with empty nest syndrome when both her kids fled New York for high education at Trinity College and the University of Mississippi. While she missed them tremendously, the trio is back together and Kelly couldn’t be happier.
Kelly was also engaged to Scott Litner and the two were to be married in Summer 2024. But after Scott refused to sign a prenup, Kelly called off the wedding a few days before it was supposed to happen.
