Nicki Minaj, her husband Kenneth Petty, and Safaree Samuels are trending topics after the ‘Pink Friday 2’ rapper put on a SHOW for her Miami Barbz! Nicki took the stage at the Keseya Center on Sunday (Oct. 6).

Following her viral performance, Nicki hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate a successful night with the Barbz. Amid posting about her Miami tour stop, Minaj cleared the air on what social media users believed was a campaign ad for her new line.
Last week, Kelsey Nicole shared professional photos of her modeling kicks from Nicki’s new sneaker line with Loci. At the time, Kelsey did not specify whether she was a formal model for the brand. But the photos, which have since been deleted, and the Instagram caption had the appearance and tone of an ad (swipe below to see the deleted post).
Still, Nicki clarified on X that while Nicole “went all out,” she is “in no way professionally connected to [her] sneaker brand.”
“She posted a photo in my sneakers. Me, nor my company knew anything about it until she posted it. So she did what many ppl did when they received my sneakers, they posted a photo in them. Kelsey def went all the way out with this professional looking backdrop tho but she is in no way professionally connected to my sneaker brand.”
The Queen Barb Takes Miami
Back to the Queen’s spicy night, though! Nicki’s mic was definitely ON last night, and circulating videos show Safaree rapping her verses word for word. Not long after, he abruptly left the show after Nicki shared a lil’ message about knowing your worth. Later, she brought out her partner, Kenneth Petty, during her live performance of ‘Super Freaky Girl.’
Needless to say, the internet is chattin’ and passing the videos around social platforms. Keep reading to get the details on the viral moments from Sunday’s show!
Safaree Samuels Speaks Out About Attending Nicki Minaj’s Concert
Safaree was wearing his Barb badge loud and proud at Nicki Minaj’s Miami show. He rapped 75 percent of her third verse on ‘FTCU’ without missing a word or skipping a beat. Not only that, he laughed and cheered on his ex-girlfriend of 14 years with an orange drink in his hand.

Aside from rocking out to his ex-girlfriend’s show, Samuels also inspired a lil’ nostalgia among the Barbz with his jean vest ‘fit. The inside joke comes from a moment during Nicki and Safaree’s relationship when he critiqued a white jacket she had on, and she clapped back with, “Please, you wore a jean vest.”

At one point, Safaree filmed himself getting some “love” from the Barbz, too.
📸 Oh no he didn’t.
Safaree was spotted having a ball at Nicki Minaj’s concert “Gag City” in Miami last night.
Pretty sure she left him gagging after she brought her hubby on stage. I’m sure safaree wasn’t expecting that.

Another circulating video shows Nicki Minaj talking to her fans about love being scary and feeling heartbroken. She also advised the Barbz never to let someone fumble them twice.
“So the longer you stay with clowns, the longer it will take before you find your person,” Nicki said while wearing a hot pink, floor-length gown.

Footage also captures Safaree Samuels seemingly leaving the venue, as it appears he was in the crowd during her advice.

A few hours later, Safaree seemingly addressed his presence at the show in an X (formerly Twitter) post. He wrote, “I’m proud no cap… a lot of y’all will never understand, but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.”
