TV groom slams co-star for exerting 'masculine energy he cannot reason with'

MAFS UK’s Kieran Chapman is slamming co-star Alex for having “masculine energy he can’t reason with”. He got along with him the least, and hinted how some of the cast aren’t in the group chat.

Kieran Chapman and Kristina Goodsell are spilling the Married at First Sight UK tea. The groom, who surprised his stranger bride with false teeth, didn’t get along with all of the men in the process.

Kieran Chapman slams co-star Alex

Kieran Chapman is slamming his co-star Alex, who butted heads with Sacha, Polly and other women on the show. Alex has also been having heightened conversations with Holly, his MAFS UK wife.

Chapman told Capital FM, “I would say one of the guys that I least got on with was Alex. A lot of masculine energy and I just cannot reason with him. He doesn’t really want to listen to any advice.”

“I tried my best to speak to him,” he added, while his wife, Kristina, agreed. Alex’s wife Holly ended up leaving the process for a few days, as they had argued about her missing her children.

MAFS UK star spills group chat tea

Kieran confirmed there is a WhatsApp group chat, but said he’s “not confirming or denying” if everyone is involved. He also admitted the other couples “wished they had what he and Kristina had at the time”.

Kristina agreed, adding, “Yeah and we did have that said to us, didn’t we? We did have somebody say, ‘You know, I would really like Kieran and Kristina’s connection,’” adding that it’s “just their characters”.

Although Kieran denied the other couples were jealous, his wife said, “There was no competition with us, so we didn’t need to try and outshine each other because we were hyping each other up.”

‘Long days’ for filming MAFS UK

Kieran told Capital FM how they’re lucky if they get one day off a week from filming. He was reunited with his dog in a surprise from Kristina, when they took the pet to an agility course.

Commitment ceremonies and dinner parties take the longest to film. He said, “It is hard enough to do without the cameras. The cameras are in your face, and you’re sitting there balling.”

“It’s like, ‘Get yourself together,’ but then that’s you being real so like don’t be anyone you’re not,” Kieran added, saying there’s a “lot of filming,” while Kristina says it’s “a lot of pressure”.

Former MAFS UK star Shona recently told Platinum Spas of her experience, involving just one day a week off filming, while dinner parties take hours to film and often start in the morning.
