Did Jenna Lyons Drop A Relationship Milestone On Watch What Happens Live?

Jenna Lyons might be one of the few people on reality TV who likes to keep things private when it comes to her personal life. However, after the premiere of Season 15 of the Real Housewives of New York City dropped on Oct. 1, Jenna dropped by Andy Cohen’s clubhouse, also known as Watch What Happens Live, and uncharacteristically spilled some major tea about her relationship status with girlfriend Cass Bird.

Why Did Jenna Lyons Return To RHONY?

Jenna Lyons raised eyebrows when she agreed to appear on the revamped RHONY in 2023, alongside new cast members Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield. Jenna already had an illustrious career in fashion and media, having served as executive creative director and president of retailer J. Crew from 2010 to 2017.

So stepping into a housewife’s shoes seemed like a strange move, as Jenna is also notoriously private. With good reason: Jenna was famously outed in the New York Post in 2011.

And while some viewers felt Jenna didn’t really fit in with the new cast, she decided to return for another season. Andy Cohen addressed Jenna’s return, asking her why she decided to come back after a tough first season.

“Last time was hard,” Jenna admitted. “I kind of got taken down, and I wasn’t used to that. And then when I heard that Racquel [Chevremont] was coming and Rebecca [Minkoff], I felt like, okay, the dynamics will shift. I was the oldest woman, I was 15 years older than all of those women, and that was a real divide. And then, having another gay lady, who’s also hot… she’s so hot,” Jenna added, referring to Racquel.

When asked which job was harder, president of J. Crew or RHONY, Jenna was frank in her response.

“RHONY,” she said with a laugh. “Because I’m not in control. That’s the hard part. And also, everyone worked for me [at J. Crew]. It was a lot easier.”

Did Jenna Lyons Reveal A Major Relationship Milestone?

Jenna Lyons supposedly got engaged to her girlfriend, photographer Cass Bird, back in May. In true Jenna fashion, she dropped vague clues about their relationship, but didn’t ever confirm the engagement.

So last night, when Andy Cohen congratulated Jenna on the engagement, Jenna let it slip that perhaps she and Cass may have already tied the knot.

“Congrats on your engagement, we’re so happy for you,” Andy said. “Do you have any wedding plans you can share with us?”

“Well, maybe I don’t need to get married,” she replied coyly. “Maybe I already did.”

“So did you?” Andy pressed further.

Fellow WWHL guest Jenny McCarthy congratulated Jenna, to which Jenna responded, “Thank you,” which seems to confirm that she and Cass did indeed get married. But while there have been no acknowledgments of a marriage in the media or online, it might be Jenna’s way of having fun with her public persona.

Whether Jenna’s pseudo-engagement/wedding will be addressed on the current season of RHONY remains to be seen.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (EST/PST) on Bravo.
