Rayne and Chidi are one of the two most memorable couples on the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, and a popular social media account fixated on the franchise (and TLC), Shabooty, said the pair were “uninvited” to the Tell All.
As you may have intuited, there is quite a bit to unpack there — and with a tremendous amount of new reality TV this fall, we’ve had less time to keep up with Before The 90 Days.
Before Season 7 began airing, we “introduced” the new couples, saying of Rayne and Chidi:
“Rayne, a 38-year-old woman from New Mexico, had never experienced true love until she met Nigerian man, Chidi, on the internet.
“The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days trailer shows Rayne traveling to Nigeria to meet Chidi, where viewers learn that he is totally blind.”
Remember, that was published before the new season aired – Before The Before The 90 Days, if you will – and as we all know, pre-season information is limited, so all the surprising stuff is reserved for the episodes.
On October 3, we reported on another Before The 90 Days newbie, Loren Allen, whose unbelievably chaotic presence has kind of taken over discussion of the current season.
Admittedly, Loren grabs attention in much the same way a car accident or train wreck does, but had they been on different seasons, Chidi’s partner Rayne would likely garner far more attention.
When 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days returned, Rayne also stood out immediately, for what ScreenRant described in a headline as her “unhinged” presence.
Rayne’s perception among fans is complex, but ScreenRant included one detail that speaks to the kind of “wait, what?” fans are dealing with here:
“During a conversation with Rayne, her mother and her mom’s friends worried that she was unprepared for the reality ahead of her in Nigeria.
“Rayne downplayed the religious differences between [herself] and Chidi, saying they both have the ‘same God.’ However, she soon revealed beliefs that are incompatible with Chidi’s.
“Rayne believes in God, but she also believes in aliens and UFOs, an understanding she insists is essential for survival.”
Again, if not for the extremely loud mess that is Loren Allen, Rayne would definitely have captured everyone’s attention just as thoroughly.

Shabooty’s Screenshot Suggests Rayne And Chidi Were ‘Uninvited’
Fans Of Before The 90 Days Have So Many Opinions
On October 10, Shabooty posted to both Twitter/X and Instagram.
The account shared a purported screenshot from a “private post” allegedly created by Rayne, and Shabooty wrote:
“☕️ According to Rayne’s private post, she’s been uninvited to the Tell All for being too negative. But isn’t that usually a reason to be on the Tell All?”
An attached screenshot of comments attributed to Rayne read:
“LOL, me who has no guts singing in front of people, was willing to since Chidi wanted to hear me sing so bad, and I loved him.
“I was planning on performing ‘Don’t Forget About Us” by Mariah Carey at the tell all. Preferably without crying.
“But luckily we were both uninvited due to all the negativity. As well as that can’t be done on television, finding out last minute. This was before all his hatred towards me started spilling out all over the internet. Just saying.”
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé were miffed on a few counts at the supposed news, with one Reddit user summing it all up neatly in a single, concise comment:
“OK, 2 things. Firstly, how dare the producers take this moment of cringe history away from us.
“Secondly, if Angela can show up and abuse Michael at every tell all, how the f*** is Rayne uninvited ‘because of the negativity[?]'”
Honestly, both great points, and indeed, the deprivation of cringe here is important.
With respect to the second objection in particular, we have extensively covered Angela’s on-screen behavior and treatment of estranged husband Michael Ilesanmi, who was forced to flee in the night after a horrifying Tell All.
Shabooty didn’t seem to provide more information about the source of the “private post,” and as of now, the veracity of the screenshot is unclear — even if 100 percent of what Shabooty says is true, we still don’t know if Rayne is putatively telling the truth, nor whether her perception is accurate.
On the other hand, Rayne’s behavior has been described as unpredictable and overbearing, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility she and Chidi were “uninvited” from the Tell All.
