Shannon Sharpe broke the internet after accidentally getting on a livestream while getting busy. The 56-year-old admitted his mishap hours after the footage went viral. However, that hasn’t stopped a plethora of celebrities from having a little kiki about his mistake.

As The Shade Room previously reported, on Wednesday, September 11, social media users noticed that Sharpe’s official account on Instagram was livestreaming. When Instagram users tuned into the stream, they reportedly heard moaning, although Sharpe’s face was not shown in the footage.

After the stream, Sharpe apparently took to his Instagram account and shared a message alleging it had been hacked.

“Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out,” he wrote at the time.

The Host Details Katt Williams’ Reaction As He Speaks Out Afterward

On Wednesday evening, Sharpe appeared on his podcast, ‘Nightcap,’ alongside his co-host Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, per The Shade Room.

During the show, Sharpe admitted that he was “embarrassed” to have audio of an “extremely private” moment heard by the “entire world.” Additionally, the 56-year-old explained that his account was not hacked.

“This was not staged. [I] came in, I threw my phone on the bed [and] engaged in an activity. I did not know IG Live, I’ve never been on IG Live… All of a sudden, my other phone is going off, and people are calling me, FaceTime that I’ve never talked to a day in my life,” he said.

While speaking with Ochocinco, Sharpe explained that one of the first people to get in touch with him after his viral mishap was Katt Williams.

“The first thing out of his mouth — guess what he said, Ocho? [He said,] ‘You ain’t gay today.’ I said, ‘Man… come on, Katt.’ He said, ‘Na-uhhh,” Sharpe recalled.

On Wednesday evening, Rick Ross took to his Instagram Story to poke fun at Sharpe’s viral moment.

Shannon Sharpe, now, we forgive you because we know you old n****s don’t know how to work that technology… You was vibing with your lil’ shorty last night — you were trying to film it and when you tried to sit that motherf*****r down on that lil’ dresser that motherf****r went live,” Ross said before breaking out into laughter.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share a humorous video of himself listening to Sharpe’s explanation.
