“What the F..” Bronson Reed reacts to WWE replacing him with Braun Strowman on Raw after contracting COVID

Ahead of last night’s episode of Raw, Bronson Reed, who had been riding high, shared a heartbreaking update. WWE, and later, Reed himself, revealed that he tested positive for COVID. Moreover, the Aussie star was removed from his scheduled Intercontinental title tournament bout. During the show, Braun Strowman suggested that he replace Reed in the match. Raw GM Adam Pearce approved; however, Reed wasn’t thrilled about the decision.

The 35-year-old star took to X to voice his infuriation. For those unversed, Reed continued to wreck havoc on Raw last week. The former NXT North American Champion clashed with Strowman in a fight that spilled into the parking lot. The end of this brawl saw Reed hit a devastating Tsunami on The Monster Among Men through a car. Although Strowman suffered bruised ribs, Reed walked out unscathed from the attack.

The Aussie monster had the Intercontinental Championship set in his sights for this week’s Raw. WWE announced that Reed would compete in a triple-threat match against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. Many fans viewed him as the favorite to win the tournament given how much momentum he had carried over the past month. Unfortunately for Reed, he will have to wait a little longer to get his hands on championship gold.

Wait .... so they replaced me with the "monster" I slayed last week??? What the F...

Interestingly, Braun Strowman not only replaced his rival but also won his qualifying match. As such, the former Universal Champion will compete in a fatal four-way match next week to determine the #1 contender. Strowman will take on Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Jey Uso on the season premiere of Monday Night Raw.

When will Bronson Reed return to action on Raw?

Bronson Reed grabbed the attention of the Raw locker room when he brutalized Seth Rollins last month. Prior to this, the 35-year-old had laid waste to Awesome Truth. A few weeks back, Reed hit a plethora of Tsunamis on R-Truth, sidelining him indefinitely from television as well.

As mentioned above, Reed had kick started a rivalry with Braun Strowman on the red brand. Therefore, the Aussie wrestler contracting COVID at this time comes as a huge disappointment for him and the WWE Universe.

Fans will hope that he returns to television as soon as next week. Reed could come back to continue his feud with Strowman by costing him the fatal-four way match. Moreover, the pair might be headed toward a brutal stipulation match at the upcoming Bad Blood PLE.
