Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa has announced the birth of her first child.

Last week, the actress who tied the knot last year shared photos from her maternity shoot, where she channeled her inner Virgin Mary. She appreciated Mother Mary for standing by her throughout, and in her humble attempt to honor her, she dressed like Mother Mary for her maternity shoot.

Recall that Ekene Umenwa made headlines on her wedding day, last year when a video of her leaving her husband to embrace and kneel before Gospel singer, Moses Bliss made rounds online.

This sparked criticism, with many arguing that her actions were inappropriate for a married woman. In response, Ekene thanked her friend for facilitating her meeting with Moses Bliss. She also thanked the gospel singer for gracing her wedding, describing his presence as instrumental in making the event memorable and vibrant.
