Manchester City clinched a late draw against Arsenal as the title contenders shared the spoils at the Etihad. Goals from Erling Haaland, Gabriel Magalhaes, Riccardo Calafiori and John Stones contributed to an exciting game which could’ve tipped in either side’s favor. One of the biggest highlights of the clash was the matchup between Haaland and Gabriel.

Things became so heated between the two that Haaland ended up throwing the ball at Gabriel’s head after City equalized in the final minutes. Even though reports suggest that no action will be taken against the Norwegian, Gabriel himself has responded to the Man City striker. The Brazilian stated that things like these happen in football and congratulated his opponents for the win.

Arteta simply did not care when reporters showered the Spaniard with compliments.

Guardiola on the other hand acknowledged Arteta’s challenge, stating that they’ll aim for 99 points this season. Over the years, Arsenal have managed to catch up with City owing to their determination to bring in quality players and sticking with Arteta’s plan. As of now, City are top of the League with 13 points while Arsenal are fourth with 11 points.
