Flight attendant Destanie Armstrong has shared tips on things never to do as an airplane passenger. Armstrong shared the tips on TikTok. The 25-year-old spoke about the things she has noticed about airplanes since becoming an air stewardess.
Armstrong said there have been times she walked into the bathroom and seen urine on the floor, and that when turbulence hits, wee spill out of the toilet bowl, when the toilet is not flushed. The flight attendant said another time an older woman left faeces “all over the wall”, adding that sometimes an aircraft can be so dirty, she washes her hands “every 20 minutes” when she is working.
Here are six (6) things suggested by Armstrong never to do as an airplane passenger”
- Don’t have your shoes off walking around the airplane
- Don’t allow your kids to crawl on the floor of the plane
- Don’t go on a long flight without first eating or taking food along
- Don’t step foot on an airplane without putting on sunscreen
- Don’t go on a flight without carrying personal sanitary wipes
- Don’t book a connection flight shorter than two (2) hours
