“We’ve evolved Sweat vs. Savvy into something a little different this season. It’s the same goal, which is to earn tribe supplies for your camp, but the method for doing it is very different. It’s a nice, fresh idea. It’s fun to watch, very fun for the player to do.”

Survivor 47 Has a Fascinating Cast
Before each modern season of Survivor airs, CBS has released information about the players. During some of those seasons, that information hasn’t been overly interesting. However, three of Survivor 47’s players have fascinating backgrounds that could play a role in the season.
The first interesting player that fans can look forward to playing during Survivor 47 is a man named Jon Lovett. Best known as a podcaster and comedian, Jon is one of the co-hosts of a podcast called Pod Save America.
The more interesting fact about Jon for Survivor fans is that he is a former political speechwriter. As a September 2024 article about him playing Survivor revealed, Jon was a speechwriter for President Barack Obama and other political figures. Given Jon’s political background, it will be interesting to see how he applies the skills he learned to Survivor.
