Sardauna Koro to Zaria emirate: Cooperate up with Emir Bamalli for sustained peace

The people of Zaria emirate, Kaduna state, have been charged to give their maximum cooperation and support to the Emir of Zazzau,  His Royal Highness Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, in the task of peace building and sustained harmony in the area.

Giving the charge while speaking with journalists, Wednesday in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the Sardauna Koro Babba, High Chief Enoch N. Fada, described the royal father as unique in human relation, peace building and harmony whose efforts have brought growth and development of the emirate and its environs since he ascended the throne in 2020.

High Chief Enoch said, “With his exposure as a sound administrator and former Nigerian Ambassador to Thailand, Alhaji Nuhu Bamalli has brought modernity to royalty, while holding the traditional stool sacred.”

“Since his appointment as the 19th Emir of Zazzau on the 7th of October 2020, the emirate has witnessed a lot of changes. With his wisdom and charisma, Zaria has been peaceful, and but for the activities of bandits which have troubled the area in recent times, Zaria has become a model in Nigeria.

However, what I will appeal is for his subjects, the people of Zazzau emirate to cooperate with His Royal Highness so that we can see more of peace and progress there. The man needs a lot of support in order to continue with  his good services to the emirate.”

High Chief Enoch explained that he is not surprised to see the current emir fighting tooth and nail to ensure the continuity of the honour accorded the emirate which hosts a number of Islamic and western educational institutions, including the famous Ahmadu Bello University.

Blueprint recalled that the administration of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai appointed Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau on the 7th of October 2020, becoming the first emir from the Mallawa ruling house in about 100 years, following the demise of his grandfather, Emir Dan Sidi in 1920.
