Martina Navratilova has reacted to Vice President and Democrat Presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ statement about American women not needing former President Donald Trump’s protection. The US presidential elections are scheduled for November 5, 2024.
During a recent rally in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump admitted that he thought women liked him, but the mainstream media kept saying that American women disliked him. He added that women were now “less safe… much poorer and less healthy” as compared to when he was the president and their protector.
On Wednesday (September 25) Kamala Harris had an interview with MSNBC. During the interview, when asked about Trump’s statement, she revealed that the Republican presidential candidate took pride in supporting women not having access to abortion in the country. She added that Amber Nicole Thurman from Georgia lost her life because of not having access to abortion, which would have saved her life.
An X user posted the Daily Beast article about Kamala Harris’ statement with the news website headline. Martina Navratilova reacted, asserting that women need to be protected from Trump.

The American legend has been a vocal critic of Trump and his policies while openly supporting the Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris. On X, she reacted to a user who shared reports about how common it was for the aforementioned states to accuse women of pregnancy-related crimes.
