Layla from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives isn’t holding back. She’s spent her earnings from the Hulu show to revamp her look, with hopes she’ll find a new husband at some point soon.
Believing plastic surgery was one of the only ways she could increase her confidence, Hulu star Layla secured her pay check and immediately paid her nearest surgeon a much-anticipated visit.
Layla Taylor undergoes surgery
Layla Taylor is admitting she underwent plastic surgery after season 1. She went under the knife for breast augmentation, rhinoplasty and a tummy tuck, with the nose job as purely cosmetic.
She said, as per Glamour, “I wanted to take back my confidence and I knew plastic surgery was one of the only ways I could for myself! I don’t think I did anything too crazy, just got my pre-baby body back.”
“In the past four months, I’ve gotten my boobs done, my nose done and a tummy tuck and lip filler and chin filler and Botox,” Taylor, 23, told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
She’s looking for new husband
Talking of her plastic surgery, single boy mom-of-two Layla said, “I want a new husband one day, so I had to revamp!” She also claims to be the most “obsessed” with surgery out of all of her friends.
Being divorced from her ex inspired her to undergo the revamp, with her revealing, “I had kids young and I love my babies to death but they screwed up my body and I wanted to feel hot again. I’m single.”
Mormon Wives star looked different
Layla looks different since undergoing surgery. Her chest and nose look remarkably transformed, while her face shape and lips have changed since 2020, before she had gone under the knife.
Taylor’s close pal and co-star Demi Engemann said getting plastic surgery at a young age is commonplace for members of the Mormon Church — especially those who reside in their home state of Utah.
“We all go this all done before we were 20 years old,” says Engemann, 30, who raved over her own rhinoplasty while chatting with Virtual Reali-Tea.
