Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, has stirred up attention again by claiming he is a pastor who gets messages from God.

This announcement came in a video posted online, right after a clip of him attacking a pastor at his bar went viral.

In the video, Portable, wearing a white celestial outfit, spoke about the incident.

“I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were one, God would have told me.”

The incident where the pastor was assaulted has triggered a strong reaction online, with many Nigerians expressing their disapproval of Portable’s behavior.

The pastor, clearly angry, referred to the singer’s actions as “uncivilized and disrespectful,” warning that Portable would soon have to deal with the fallout.

The backlash against the singer has been rapid, with many condemning him for his attack on a spiritual leader.

Portable remains resolute, asserting that he values pastors and that his faith guides his decisions.

Meanwhile, Nigerian gospel singer Testimony Jaga has joined the chorus of voices from the Christian community reacting to the video of Portable slapping a preacher.

Testimony Jaga criticized Portable for the incident involving the pastor who visited Zazu’s bar to preach.

He has given Portable a three-day period to rectify the situation.

Jaga promised to take action against Portable if the singer did not apologize to the pastor he hit.
