It seems like everyone wants a piece of WWE at the moment, more specifically NXT. Indiana Pacers‘ very own Tyrese Haliburton took to X and expressed his fandom over how stacked this week’s NXT episode was. The point guard tagged WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, asking him whether he can be a part of the show next week. It didn’t take long for HBK to clap back at Haliburton. Shawn said he’d love to have the Pacers star on NXT.
But Michaels hilariously warned Tyrese to be wary of wandering in the NXT parking lot. For the unversed, that place has been notorious for staging some of the most brutal brawls in NXT‘s history. Nonetheless, that was merely a pun-intended piece of advice from The Heartbreak Kid. Back to Haliburton, he was truly floored by the series of events that unfolded at the Performance Center on Tuesday.
Then, be it Fraxiom putting their tag team titles on the line against The Street Profits. But what transpired during the closing moments had Tyrese amped up. The Bloodline minus Solo Sikoa crashed the NXT Tag Team title match. Out of nowhere, Tama Tonga took out Montez Ford. It was followed by a run-in from Jacob Fatu and Tonga Loa. These men came, wreaked havoc, and stood tall.
Fraxiom vs, Street Profits, Bloodline pulled up, and Giulia in-ring debut!? @WWENXT is on {fire emojis} I need to pull up! What you think about next week? @ShawnMichaelsTyrese Haliburton on X
After doing the damage, the Bloodline trio was caught causing mayhem backstage, where at last, Tama said they did what they did by the orders of The Tribal Chief, which right now is Solo. Not only that, but the NBA player seemingly enjoyed watching Giulia’s WWE in-ring debut as well. She went toe to toe with Chelsea Green and emerged victorious, as many fans had expected.
Is Tyrese Haliburton joining CM Punk next Tuesday on NXT?
Next week’s NXT is shaping up to be a must-see affair. As depicted above, Tyrese Haliburton is already gunning to make an appearance. To add to that, CM Punk has also been confirmed for the show.
As proclaimed by NXT General Manager Ava Raine last night, The Best in the World will have an announcement to make. A couple of weeks from next Tuesday, NXT will premiere on the CW Network. For that to be a blockbuster night, WWE isn’t leaving any stone unturned.
Apart from another Punk appearance that night, the NXT Women’s title will be on the line with Roxanne Perez defending against Giulia. Ethan Page is also set for a showdown with Trick Williams, with the NXT Championship up for grabs. All in all, it’s going to be a historic episode for NXT and its fans.
