Gang Of Late Bandit Commander, Kachallah Buzu Reportedly Announces New Operational Leader

The criminal gang of late Bandit Commander Kachallah Buzu killed on September 12, 2024, has reportedly appointed a new operational leader.

The name of the new leader is Kachalla Sanda, also known as Dan Kwallisa.

This was disclosed in a post on X on Tuesday by a renowned security expert cum Conflict and Crisis Journalist in the Northwest region, Bakatsine.

According to Bakatsine, Dan Kwallisa was the former Second-in-Command to the late Buzu.

He also provided the bandit’s vicinity as Faru, Off Gurbin Baure, Zurmi LGA, Zamfara State.

The security expert also tagged the Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, Defence Headquarters, Nigeria Army Headquarters, and Nigeria Police Force, as well as Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, in his post.

Politics Nigeria recalls that Buzu was killed alongside several of his fighters, in what has been described as a breakthrough against banditry and terrorism.

He was neutralized the night of September 12 in Mayanchi village by troops from the Joint Task Force Northwest OPHD in Zamfara state after an ambush was laid by the military following intelligence reports on the terrorists’ movements.
