“Bring awareness to Tatas and peppers” – Oscar De La Hoya and partner STUN internet with NSFW video

The Golden Boy boss Oscar De La Hoya and Holly Sonders recently shared a wild dance video that caught everyone’s attention. Later, the pair redirected public attention from the controversial spectacle to promoting public health awareness. Despite facing criticism for their original video, they decided to leverage the spotlight to share a crucial health-related message.

In the subsequent video, the couple attired similarly to their previous dance video. However, this time, De La Hoya and Holly Sonders seized the opportunity to communicate the underlying purpose behind their bold performance. Per the couple, the purpose of the video was to raise awareness about prostate cancer.

All we really wanted to do was to bring awareness to the tatas and peppers because it is that time if the year for you to get a prostate exam and a mammogram. Let's knock out cancer.

Oscar De La Hoya - The Golden Boy (Under Appreciated GOAT)

The first video, which was criticized and quickly removed from Instagram, has found new life with a new video as a public service announcement. Interestingly, the couple also revealed that they have made a donation of around $50,000 to Adventist White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. The funding was done so that the general public could opt for free prostate exams and mammograms.

De La Hoya is known for his controversial behaviors in his professional life. The fishnet lingerie incident and the unnecessary slamming of several boxers are some examples. This recent gesture took everyone by surprise. As such, the comment box of the post was filled with high praises for the couple. However, this is not the first time when the Golden Boy boss came up and helped the needy.

Oscar De La Hoya and his philanthropic activities

Even though it seems that Oscar De La Hoya won’t be the type of person to do charitable activities, he does. Interestingly, the Golden Boy runs a charity foundation by his name called the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation. The foundation was born out of a commitment to providing educational and athletic opportunities to underprivileged youths.

On several occasions, the boxer, with a group of volunteers, visits orphan homes to meet the children. In doing so, he also hands out gifts for the kids there. Not only that, the Oscar De La Hoya Foundation also often donates a good amount of money to social causes. As such, once during the COVID-19 epidemic, De La Hoya donated around $250,000 to the same hospital as he recently mentioned in his prostate cancer awareness video.

However, he is not the only standout personality in the boxing community to make his bid for the general public. On many occasions, Floyd Mayweather and even Terence Crawford were seen playing charity games to raise money. As time goes by, most of the popular individuals in the world continue to help out the general public. Although the means can be different, the ultimate goal is the same.
